New Orleans Police say a woman walked into a local business armed with a hammer and robbed the place.
“The suspect entered the business armed with a hammer and demanded money,” according to an initial police report.
It happened at Canal Place in the 300 block of Canal Street.
“The suspect then fled the location with the cash register via RTA to an unknown destination.”
The report did not make it clear of the woman got away on a bus or a streetcar.
It happened around 10:30am on Friday.
