Police are looking for clues after finding a female murder victim.
"The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 6200 block of Bridgehampton Drive," Senior Public Information Officer Aaron Looney said in an email. "Initial reports show an adult female victim who was declared deceased on scene."
Cops got the call around 7:15 this evening.
"The incident was confirmed as a homicide just before 8:00 p.m."
Looney says the woman sustained at least one gunshot wound.
Detectives are looking for a suspect: "Detectives have developed and positively identified Eric Christopher Gentris (pictured, black male, DOB: 01/02/1989)."
