The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in Algiers that injured a woman.
Police say it happened near the intersection of General Meyer and Odeon Avenues.
Initial police reports say an adult female was found suffering from a gunshot wound. She arrived at the hospital via private vehicle. Police received the initial call at 10:32 p.m. No further information is available at this time.
