A late-night shooting in Uptown New Orleans has left a woman dead and police searching for clues.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, that shooting happened just after 11 p.m. Saturday on Soniat Street near Magnolia Street. An EMS crew took the victim to the hospital, where she later died. So far, police have not identified a suspect or a motive.
