New Orleans Police say the rash or armed robberies and carjackings continued Monday with a woman held at gunpoint after returning from going shopping.
"Armed suspect approached victim as she was unloading groceries from her vehicle," according to an initial police report. "Suspect demanded her keys."
Cops say the woman told the gunman the keys were in her home.
"Suspect accompanied the victim to residence, where she retrieved her keys and gave them. Suspect fled in the victim's vehicle."
NOPD released a picture of the suspect.
It happened Monday around 7:30pm in the 3000 block of Saint Peter Street.
