New Orleans Police say gunfire in the Central Business District sent one victim to the hospital Wednesday evening.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting at the intersection of Poydras and Camp streets," according to a news release,
Detectives say the victim was shot in abdomen and showed up at the emergency room.
"Initial reports show a male victim with a gunshot wound to the stomach arriving via private conveyance to a local hospital."
