The “Maine Big Game Grand Slam” is not unlike the grand slams in sports like tennis and golf. It involves accomplishing four difficult feats in a calendar year.

In this case, those feats are killing a turkey, bear, moose and deer in Maine within a 365-day span.

Alex Larrabee did just that, according to the Bangor Daily News, starting with the turkey in the spring. From there, Larrabee killed a 138-pound bear on Youth Bear day, followed by a 115-pound seven-point buck on Youth Deer Day, shooting it with a crossbow.

Larrabee finished off the amazing feat on November 9 by shooting a 670-pound moose.

“Not a lot of people get to do it,” Alex told WABI. “I’m lucky to be able to. I get to hang out with my dad and look at a lot of animals.”
