MIDLAND, Texas (Talk1370.com) -- Officials in Midland say one person has died and several others were injured after an active shooter incident on the city's southwest side Friday morning.
Midland officials say the incident happened in the 4600 block of West Wall Street near Industrial Avenue.
Authorities are, according to Midland Police, reportedly involved in a standoff with the shooter in an effort to bring the incident to a safe resolution.
City officials say one person is dead and nearly a dozen others were injured.
