What do you do when you're one of the world's biggest action film stars and there's a pothole in your neighborhood that is destroying car tires? You fix it, of course.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was so fed up with a giant pothole in his Los Angeles neighborhood that he broke out a shovel and took matters into his own hands.
The former California Governor posted a video on social media Tuesday that show him and a couple other guys filling a pothole that streched nearly across an entire lane of traffic.
"Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that's been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it," the "Terminator" star wrote in his post. "I always say, let's not complain, let's do something about it."
While Schwarzenegger and crew were filling the crater, a woman driving through the area stopped to check out their work.
"You're welcome," the actor shouted, as soon as she rolled down the window. "You have to do it yourself. This is crazy. For three weeks I've been waiting for this hole to be closed."
A spokesperson for Schwarzenegger told the Associated Press that he and other Brentwood residents had made repeated requests for the pothole to be repaired.
While it's not clear if the city had plans to fill that particular hazard, LA Mayor Karen Bass said last week that the Department of Public Works had filled more than 17,500 potholes after receiving nearly 20,000 requests for repairs since December over potholes left behind from winter storms, the AP noted.
