The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall for candles sold at Ross Dress For Less last week, noting that they have a risk of combusting while in use.

The posting from the CPSC shared that Ross has received at least five reports of Taylor & Finch brand six wick scented candles combusting and breaking the glass containers that hold them.

Of the reports, only one minor injury resulted from the candle combusting, according to the CPSC posting.

The candles affected by the recall are the “Spiced Apple & Rosewood” and “Cedarwood & Clove” scents with the SKU numbers 400244981194 and 400244981200, the posting shared.

To locate the SKU number, consumers should check the price label on the bottom of the container.

The candles were sold at Ross stores nationwide for $17 from August through October of 2022. Those who purchased one of the recalled items are advised to stop using them and return them to a Ross store for a full refund.
