Trump mocks Chris Christie with AI image, showing drones over Jersey are his McDonald’s orders

President-elect Donald Trump has taken another shot at former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, sharing an AI-generated image as an explanation for why the drones are over the state.

Trump posted the AI photo of Christie on his Truth Social, showing Christie with five drones hovering around him, holding McDonald’s bags as the former governor prepares to eat some burgers.

The president-elect offered no words to go with the image, but some of the commenters pieced together what he meant.

“We now know the source of the drones over New Jersey,” one user wrote.

The post from Trump comes as approximately 1,000 drone sightings have been reported in New Jersey in less than a month, according to state officials. There have also been similar reports popping up across the country as Americans spot mysterious flying objects in their airspace.

Federal officials have said that the drones are misidentified aircraft, like helicopters or Cessna planes, and that there is no danger to the public.

Christie has long been a punching bag for Trump after the former ally turned critic. The president-elect has taken shots at him for everything but often hammers him for his weight and eating habits.

The former New Jersey governor has not commented on Trump’s post at this time.
