With Donald Trump poised to be named the GOP’s official nomination for a third straight Presidential election, many are asking whether his wife Melania will be in attendance at the Republican National Convention next week.
According to multiple reports released Thursday, Melania Trump is expected to be present, though any public appearances she might make are still unknown.
The third wife of the 78-year-old candidate, Melania served as First Lady during Donald Trump’s only term as President from January 2017-January 2021, and she spoke at each of the last two conventions.
But she’s been quiet over the course of her husband’s third Presidential campaign, choosing to skip out on his many rallies and victory parties after primary and caucus wins, though she did appear at his campaign launch at Mar-a-Lago in November 2022.
She has also appeared at a select few private Republican events held at Trump properties in New York and Palm Beach.
The Republican convention will take place next week, from July 15-18.
