The NOPD continues to crackdown on human trafficking in the city. Recently, the department identified what they believe to be a trafficking ring in the seventh police district.
Four suspects have been arrested for their role in the ring. 31 year old Lee Allen, 45 year old Commoder Allen, 29 year old Lawrence Allen, and 34 year old Montrell Porter face an array of charges that in include human trafficking, aggravated assault, and first degree rape.
NOPD says the investigation remains ongoing.
