NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A JetBlue plane tipped on its tail while parked at a gate at Kennedy International Airport in Queens on Sunday night, video shows and the airline confirmed.

As passengers were getting off JetBlue flight 662 from Bridgetown, Barbados, around 8:15 p.m., the nose of the Airbus A321 lifted into the air. Citizen video shows the front wheels of the aircraft off the ground.

In a statement, JetBlue said the passenger deplaning led to "a shift in weight and balance" and "the tail of the aircraft tipped backward causing the nose of the aircraft to lift up and eventually return back down."
