St. Bernard Parish Government has opted to allow bars to reopen for on-premises consumption.
Spokesman Donald Bourgeois said in a news release, "Today, St. Bernard Parish reached a threshold of less than 5% positivity rate for COVID-19 cases. With this threshold being reached, President McInnis has opted in, to open up barrooms in St. Bernard Parish."
The parish sent the following letter to the governor for approval for bars to resume allowing patrons inside...
Bourgeois added, "We are asking our establishments to following all CDC guidelines and COVID-19 protocols. Cheers!"
