The threat of inclement weather has moved the inauguration of Jeff Landry as Louisiana's 57th governor up a day.
Landry was to have taken the oath of office on the steps of the Louisiana capitol on Monday, January 8.
Due to the 80 percent chance of rain in the forecast for Monday, that ceremony will now happen Sunday January 7 at 4:30 p.m.
Other state officials will be sworn in as well.
