Power is slowly being restored to Louisiana.
Entergy is reporting they currently have just over 140-thousand customers without power in their service area.
Meanwhile, CLECO is working to get power restored to more than 60-thousand of their customers.
And power restoration was a point made by Governor John Bel Edwards after a tour of a hurricane zone by helicopter on Saturday:
"As we flew over the areas [in the zone] we didn't a lot of utility poles down or any lines down," Edwards said. "We did see occasionally a tree would've fallen onto those distribution lines. So we really believe that restoration is going to take place much faster than what happened after Hurricane Laura. For a category 2 hurricane the average is about 10-days."
