A cold front arrives with some rainstorms possible

A cold front moves into the New Orleans metro area. Slightly warmer temperatures for Thursday but cooler on Friday and into the weekend.

WWLTV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “A cold front and coastal low will move across southeast Louisiana today with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Some downpours are possible. High temperatures will be around 70. The rain and a few storms will continue into tonight with lows around 50. The cold front will move through on Friday morning with clouds and a few stray showers. Then it will gradually become partly cloudy, breezy and colder during the afternoon. High temperatures will be back in the upper 50s.”
