A cold front sweeps through bringing some showers.

WWLTV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “Big changes to our weather arrive today. A strong cold front is headed our way and this front will bring us some fall weather. The front is expected to move through between 3 PM and 6 PM. Today will be partly cloudy, hot and humid with scattered showers and storms ahead and along the cold front. Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe with gusty winds. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s until the front moves through. Then the temperatures will fall into the 70s late this afternoon. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with some lingering showers and a few storms. It will become much cooler and less humid with lows in the 50s north and 60s south.”
