It will be sunny and cool today as we hit the first day parades of the carnival season.
"Expect lots of sunshine. It will be nice and comfortable and cooler today with temperatures in the low 60s this afternoon," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler.
If you're going to night parades, maybe bring a light jacket.
"Temperatures will be in the 50s this evening, and we'll wake up tomorrow morning with temperatures in the 30s north and 40s south," Alexa said.
