Friday will start with near-freezing temperatures and light rain.
WWLTV’s Meteorologist, Alexandra Cranford says, “It's near freezing this Friday morning, and we have light cold rain in many spots. If we see any sleet or ice, accumulations will be minimal, but it doesn't take much for some slick spots on elevated roads for patchy ice. That looks most likely from Houma and Thibodaux across the river parishes and on the Northshore mainly along the I-12 corridor.”
