Get ready for some real cold tonight.
"Winds finally subside, but that allows temperatures to drop off below freezing on the Northshore," said WWL-TV meteorologist Brooke Laizer. "South of the lake will be a little warmer, but we could see right around freezing itself for the bayou and river parishes."
Brooke says we'll start warming up Tuesday afternoon.
"Everybody starts warming into the 60s for Tuesday afternoon and 70s return by the end of the week," she said. "We are going to see beautiful, spring-like weather all the way through Sunday."
