While we most likely will see scattered showers and storms, don't expect much in the way of cooler conditions. In fact, that precipitation could make conditions hotter and muggier, with heat indices in the metro area pushing 108°. Actual air temperatures will top out around 92 on Friday, with overnight lows near 80.
