Temperatures the next few days are forecast to be above normal for late October, but cool air is on the way.
"We'll remain under a warm and more humid weather pattern for the rest of the week and weekend. Expect mornings in the 60s and afternoons in the mid 80s," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone forecasts.
He says big changes are coming next week.
"A strong cold front is expected to arrives Monday. Exact timing is still being worked out, but it appears a cool down begins on Monday evening, and pretty chilly afterwards. Staying under cloudy skies and brisk winds, Halloween high temps look to only briefly reach the low 60s and may struggle to get out of the 50s on Wednesday! "
