Expect morning lows in the 30s and 40s this week across Southeast Louisiana, with some frost possible.
"Much colder air is going to rush in overnight and we'll wake up Monday morning to temperatures in the 40s," WWL TV Meteorologist Alexa Trischler forecasts.
She says Monday will be breezy and very chilly with high temperatures only in the mid to upper 50s.
"Tuesday will again bring chilly weather with calmer winds and more sunshine. Patchy frost is possible north of Lake Pontchartrain on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings with low temperatures set to take a tumble down to the mid 30s on the Northshore."
Trischler says expect 40s on the Southshore.
