It will be cool but not frigid today, with the freezing cold forecast to arrive after Sunday night.
"Expect a cloudy and cool Saturday," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "We will have rain and storms today throughout the afternoon and evening hours."
Alexa says temperatures will be in the 60s both today and tomorrow, but after hitting a high of 68 Sunday, temperatures will begin falling.
"Plus, we have another round of rain and storms early tomorrow, and then it gets bitterly cold and windy tomorrow night," she said.
Monday morning, temperatures will be in the 20s.
