After some morning fog, look for a nice weather day across Southeast Louisiana.
"The fog will clear in the next couple hours. We kick off the week quiet with comfortable weather this afternoon," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone forecasts. "High temperatures climb to near 70 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds at times."
He says the first big change comes tomorrow.
"We'll begin to see clouds increase across the area with an isolated shower/thunderstorm or two ahead of a front. While not everyone will see rough weather, a few strong storms are possible Tuesday afternoon/evening."
Malone says more severe weather problems will stay north of Louisiana in Mississippi.
"We'll see a few more showers and t-storms early Wednesday with a cool front then the colder dry air is here for about a day."
Wednesday will see falling temps through the day.
"We will start mild in the 70s, but temperatures will fall in the afternoon back into the 60s with breezy north winds."
The forecast calls for a much colder day on Thursday, with highs only in the upper 50s.
"We quickly return to the 70s Friday and this weekend."
