The National Weather Service office for New Orleans says the weather could get a little dicey tonight.
"A few strong to severe thunderstorms with strong, possibly damaging wind gusts could occur with any organized lines or clusters of thunderstorms that develop," forecasters posted.
WWL TV Meteorologist Alexandra Cranford says there is a 60% chance for scattered showers and storms.
The rest of the night, she says, "40% chance for isolated storms."
That continues into Monday.
New Orleans officials are letting people park on neutral grounds in case there are flooding rains.
Heavy rain could cause street flooding in low-lying areas of New Orleans. Neutral ground parking restrictions have been lifted until 8am Monday morning. Don’t block intersections, street car tracks, or sidewalks," NOLA Ready posted.
