The rain continues today with a flash flood watch set through 1pm for the New Orleans metro area, Northshore, River Parishes, upper Lafourche, Terrebonne areas.
WWLTV’s Meteorologist Payton Malone says, “The slow moving cold front continues to inch closer to the area. It looks like we'll see showers and storms continue through the morning and afternoon. Rain could be heavy at times, so we'll have to watch for street flooding through Wednesday afternoon. Areas could pick up a quick 1-3 inches of rain with a few sport picking up more. The severe weather threat is lower, but a few stronger storms could produce gusty winds and small hail.”
