Hit-and-miss showers will stay in the forecast throughout the weekend, especially on Saturday, as moist air hovers over the region.
Rain chances will sit at 40 percent on Saturday before falling to 10 percent for Sunday and Monday. Despite the lower precipitation probabilities to start the new week, humidity will blanket the area, keeping heat indices safely in the triple digits. Rain chances increase to 30 percent on Tuesday before rising to 60 percent for the rest of the week thanks to more tropical moisture that will enter the area.
The good news about those tropical showers is that they will cool us off during the day. High temperatures for the first half of the week will top out between 95 and 98 degrees. As the rain chances increase later in the week, our high temperatures decrease, sitting around 90°.
Stay hydrated, and keep and umbrella and/or poncho with you.
