Thursday will bring thunderstorms as a cold air moves in later in the week and bringing frigid cold weather for Mardi Gras weekend.
WWLTV’s Meteorologist Payton Malone says, “We start with fog and showers across the area. The clouds and fog will linger through the morning, but we'll start to see more showers and perhaps a few strong storms during the afternoon. Locally heavy rain could lead to minor street flooding and some storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. It will be warm and humid ahead of our cold front with highs in the mid-70s. We'll eventually start to see the heaviest rain move out by this evening, but then the cooler weather moves in by tonight.”
