Look for sunshine and 70 today as we get ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
"We begin to warm up today," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone forecasts. "Quiet with sunshine and highs in the low 70s."
He says the clouds return for Thanksgiving along with warmer temps in the low to mid 70s.
"It looks like Thursday morning and early afternoon are mostly dry, but a few storms arrive Thursday evening/night. With the stalled upper level low over Texas we'll see more rounds of rain Friday and early Saturday. Friday doesn't look like a complete washout, but there will be periods of rain."
