We have a hot and humid forecast for our weekend.
"Rain chances will be minimal for any brief relief from the heat," said WWL-TV meteorologist Brooke Laizer. "Temperatures in the 90s, feeling more like triple digits."
Brooke says rain chances will pick up as we get into the new work week.
"We'll have a higher possibility for localized flooding Monday through Wednesday," she said. "We are keeping a close eye on the tropics for any development that could lead to increased rain chances."
