Pan Am Flight 759 was a regularly scheduled domestic flight that tragically crashed on July 9, 1982, in the New Orleans suburb of Kenner, Louisiana. The Boeing 727-235 aircraft encountered extreme weather immediately following its takeoff from New Orleans International Airport.
