A man was killed and a woman wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday morning in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
The pair were standing outside in the first block of South Springfield Avenue when a black car drove by and someone inside fired shots about 10 a.m., Chicago police said.
The man, 33, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The woman, 30, suffered a grazed wound to the neck and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
No arrests were made.
