CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 16-year-old girl has been charged with carjacking four separate drivers at gunpoint this year, and with stealing a car with a young child in the back seat.
Not only is the 16-year old girl charged with four carjackings at gunpoint, police said she's accused of taking off in a running car that had a 7-year-old child in the backseat in the Bridgeport neighborhood.
All five incidents happened between mid-February and late March. Police said the victims included a 27, 35 and 36-year- old men and a 60-year- old woman.
The 16-year old is charged with felony counts of carjacking with a gun and unlawful restraint for the theft involving the young child.
