A woman is dead after being shot in Humboldt Park Thursday night, police said.
Police were responding to a call of shots fired around 11:35 p.m. when they found the woman, 38, unresponsive in a home on Ohio near Kedzie, according to Chicago police.
A man, 46, was in the home with the woman. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition with a graze wound to the head.
The man wouldn’t answer questions from police and was “very uncooperative,” police said.
Police recovered a handgun from the scene and detectives are investigating.
