LEMONT (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in a motel in southwest suburban Lemont.

Police said it happened at a D-LUX Budget Inn near 123rd and Archer Thursday morning.

Officers had been called about a disturbance in one of the rooms. Police found a woman dead, shot multiple times.

In an adjacent room, they also discovered a 62-year old man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities believe the gun used in his death was the same one used to kill the woman.

They are still working to discover a motive and have not yet established a relationship between the man and the woman.
