With grocery and gas prices remaining high, scammers are mailing official-looking postcards and sending convincing emails that promise hundreds of dollars in free rewards.
The catch? To claim them, you're asked to pay a small processing or shipping fee. That's a major red flag.
And once scammers have your payment information, you could face unauthorized charges, unwanted subscriptions, or never receive the promised reward after all.
Before responding to any offer, research the company. And remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
