33-year-old Olivia Bryant has pleaded not guilty to three counts of theft from the U.S. mail. United States Attorney John Lausch said in March of last year Bryant allegedly stole three pieces of mail from her Chicago route. Those envelopes contained stimulus checks from the federal government.

A status hearing is set for next month. If convicted Bryant faces up to fifteen years in prison.
