CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A Chicago mayoral forum Monday night was pretty underwhelming.
The event was hosted by the Southwest Side GOP Club. There were nine invites, but only two showed- Willie Wilson and Roderick Sawyer.
"These are all voters, and they're going to talk to their wives, their kids, their neighbors. If I'm running for office, I'm going to try to get votes anywhere I can," Southwest Side GOP Club President Steve Graves told CBS-2. "So to not show up, I think, is a bad move. It's a mistake."
About 100 voters showed up for the forum, held at 115 Bourbon Street, an entertainment venue, at Merrionette Park.
