CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The Chicago Department of Public Health is cutting the days that people can get home visits for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.

The “Protect Chicago At Home” program is being shortened to three days starting next month: Saturday through Monday, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
About 70% of Chicagoans have had more than one dose of the COVID vaccine. Just 40%  have had at least one booster.  That number remains a concern to  the Chicago Department of Public Health.

The home vaccination program also includes flu shots for those who schedule COVID vaccines.

To schedule an at-home vaccination appointment go to Chicago.gov/AtHome or call 312-746-4835.
