Pharmaceutical distributor AvKare has recently had to issue a recall after accidentally mixing up some medications.

A serious problem, some patients were even given bottles with BOTH trazodone and sildenafil, due to what the company is calling a "product mix-up."

Trazodone is used to treat depression, whereas sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra. They're not to be confused.

Unintentional intake of trazodone can result in sedation, dizziness, constipation and blurred vision, though AvKare has yet to receive any reports of adverse events related to this mix-up, so far.
