CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Several horses died in a barn fire in Gary on Saturday night.
The barn at the Quarter Circle JK Ranch is destroyed after flames ripped through it.
WGN-TV reported firefighters responded at around midnight Saturday to the fire that killed four horses and left one in critical condition at Purdue University Large Animal Hospital.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal is investigating several other barn fires in northern counties.
