GENEVA (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Geneva High School teacher has resigned over a profanity-laden TikTok video that she posted after an experience at her daughter’s choir concert.

Antoinette Tortorello-Allaway said in the video she was infuriated and a prolific use of expletives followed.

She had been taking tickets at the event and an elderly woman didn’t have a mask on.

"And I'm like am I going to have to (expletive) throw down with this (expletive), because I deal with this all day long at school," Tortorello-Allaway said during her rant on Tik Tok. "I'll (expletive) thrown down and I stare at her and say 'are you kidding me right now?"

Then she said the woman was seated behind her. An announcement was made that masks had to be worn, covering mouths and noses.

"Grandma has the (expletive) mask on her chin like the (expletive) she is."

At the end, the kids sang “Lift Every Voice,” the black national anthem.

"What do you think (expletive) grandma did?" She was so apalled that she actually got up and walked out while they were singing," said Tortorello-Allaway.

"You're not even trying to hide what a racist piece of (expletive) you are, are you? How dare you act like this. (Expletive) you."

Masks in schools have caused division in Geneva, like elsewhere. A petition was started calling for the teacher to be reprimanded.

Instead, she decided to quit.
