(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The unclaimed remains of five people in Kane County have been reunited with family or friends.
When that didn't work, the names of the deceased were published.
Ad that's when family members stepped forward to claim the remains of two of the bodies, while the remains of three others were claimed by friends or acquaintances, Russell said.
The 35 sets of remains that remain unclaimed were interred at a St. Charles cemetery following a memorial service.
