(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Christmas is over, but a traditional post-Christmas celebration continues in the Chicago area.
Sixto Rincon is owner of Aracely's Bakery in west suburban Cicero, which is busy baking thousands of "King Cakes" (or, rosca de reyes) for Jan. 6, the day that Christians say the Three Kings visited Baby Jesus.
The cakes, which resemble a giant donut, have a toy baby Jesus hidden inside. The person who gets that piece is not necessarily blessed: They have to provide dinner for the entire family the following month.
"We've had family members where, sometimes, they get the baby Jesus, and you can see them chewing on it because they don't want to tell everybody. Because they don't want to pay for the food on the second of February," Rincon said.
