
(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A Montgomery man – arrested on Wednesday – now faces nearly 100 felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting minors.
Michael Farris, 84, is accused of sexually assaulting five victims between the ages of 13 and 17.
According to the Kane County State's Attorney's office, the crimes occurred between January of 2008 and July of 2022.
Investigators believe Farris may have more victims – citing his involvement with organizations including the train club and Boy Scouts of America.
He's currently charged with 23 felony counts of criminal sexual assault and 67 felony counts of criminal sexual abuse.
He was due in court at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
