CHICAGO, IL (WBBM Newsradio) – A sign on one of the doors at McCormick and Schmick’s reads in large blue letters ‘This Location Has Closed’.
The popular steak and seafood brand closing its doors in the first block of East Wacker Drive after allowing their lease to expire, according to a manager on site New Year’s Day.

The manager confirms that Houston based ownership Landry Hospitality will be putting its best effort toward relocating the remaining staff to nearby sister locations, which include Morton’s, Mastro’s, and Palm.

The abrupt closure does come with remarks of gratitude from Landry, for years of support from the community.
