CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago Police are warning residents on the city’s Northwest Side about a series of sexual assaults.

At least three attacks have been reported in the last month around Logan Square. The most recent happened this weekend near Troy and Logan Boulevard, just before 4 a.m.

Investigators say a man approaches women from behind and then sexually assaults them. On two occasions, he was armed with a sharp object.

Two of the attacks happened on a sidewalk. The third was in the hallway of a woman’s apartment building.

The suspect is described as a 29 to 35-year-old man with short black hair and brown eyes.

So far, no one is in custody.
